My underwear is called a brief
In Genesis to my disbelief
In the Garden of Eden
There was no winter season
So Adam and Eve wore just a fig leaf
His words are concise and brief
Biting with a folksy motif

Infinity is but a brief period of time
Perhaps this is by God’s grand design
For our lives are so fleeting
As was everything preceding
